A few weeks ago when GE missed their quarter numbers, I opened a new position for me with 200 shares.  A few minutes ago I added another 150 shares.  Some would say I'm averaging down.  That's not how I see it though.  I'm gradually building a position in the company.  Will the $28.77 that I just paid per share be the bottom.  Of course not.  I can see that there appears to be some strength at this level as Uncle Harley more eloquently stated above. 

GE will be a long term investment so whether I get it at or near the bottom wont matter in 10 years.  So I'm of the camp that hopes that it does better in the next 10 years than in the prior 10 years.

Hoping to buy another 300-400 shares but I'm approaching the buying slowly.  GE has exposure to financials and I'm not sure that all those difficulties have already unwound.  So sitting tight for now.

Just my 2 cents.
