Fund Reopenings randan  06-08-2008, 12:36 PM | Post #2526231  |

With the recent spate of reopenings, I have started to look at possible candidates to add to my portfolio.  Number one on my list would be Matthews Asian Growth and Income (MACSX).  It seems like a tamer way to play the Asian economies.  Though not closed, Matthews Pacific Equity Income (MAPIX) is also on my potential buy list and has a fairly hefty 22% in assets devoted to Japan which at some point one would think has to emerge from its doldrums.  Or a broad based EM fund such as T Rowes PRMSX?

Any thoughts on the above as well as other funds you are hoping will reopen?

Dan
