As I said, all semantics.  Thanks for that long explanation but since I have everything I own in tax deferred and tax free accounts, none of it applies.  I don't care about those issues cause it is all gonna be taxed as normal income or not taxed at all.

To me a fund that relies on growth and income combined is a total return fund.  But if you want to call it something else, be my guest:o}
