good old Rogers Park---ten minutes' walk from where we both went to school, St. Ignatius, the parish church being just one block east of Mike Hogan's house which is on the northeast corner of Newgard and Albion Avenues. 

As you may recall Mike married Peggy Coughlin---I was Terrence (Terry to us) Coughlin's elementary school classmate along with Dennis McCarthy and Donald Suerth; on a sad note perhaps you know that Peg dies some years back from *** cancer and Mike never remarried.  He stayed 'married' to his work as a judge in the Cook County Court; we see and wave to each other on the street every so often.  Next time I see him I'll say hello for you.

BTW did you know that Mike's dad was Bob Newhart's first agent in his show business career?  I never did figure out why I never met Newhart; what a missed opportunity as I LOVED his comedic schtick and would have KILLED for his autograph.  (-: 

And I haven't been a baseball fan for decades but back in the day I was a FANATIC especially for my forlorn but beloved CUBBIES!
