I think the reason it is not performing in between the two other funds is because since this fund is new it has the ability to buy mid caps along with large caps so I don't think it is only made up of existing ideas from the other two funds. I am sure there is meaningful overlap but the positions the other funds do not own might be performing worse. Just a guess.
