Yeah, Vanguard was my first call when I started researching. I personally believe they are missing a niche in the 401k industry by only administering 10M plus plans. I got a bad taste in my mouth after that conversation. Here is a worksheet from JF Actuarial that helped me create my own spreadsheet of comparison between administrators. It has just about every cost associated with a 401k plan.

Edit: Didn't know if you realized or not, but John Hancock's 401k is an annuity within a 401k. That is the reason for the higher ER's.
