Several months ago i took a "free" subscription to a devotional/inspirational type magazine - i think it was "Our Daily Bread".  I ordered under the name Bull Winkle.  After i got a few issues of the magazine, a slow drip drip of junk mail started.   Yesterday Bull Winkle was invited to join AARP!!!  I really hate junk mail so i haven't had a magazine subscription in years & i always try to check privacy info when ordering.  To get generic info (like "free" info advertised on tv etc) i always use a bogus name & will alter my address like giving an apartment #, but it's a townhouse.
