MGV (Vanguard Mega 300 Value) statsguy  06-03-2008, 8:03 PM | Post #2524409  |

MGV (Vanguard Mega Cap 300 Value) looks like an ETF that most here would be interested in.  This ETF invests in the large cap dividend stocks that we talk about all the time.  For example, here is the top 10 holdings from Vanguard

1ExxonMobil Corp.
2General Electric Co.
3AT&T Inc.
4Chevron Corp.
5Johnson & Johnson
6Bank of America Corp.
7JPMorgan Chase & Co.
8Pfizer Inc.
9ConocoPhillips Co.
10Citigroup, Inc.
41.4% of total net assets

This is a relatively new offerring from Vanguard so M* does not yet have the yield, but Vanguard says the 30 day SEC yield is 3.02%.  That compares favorably with Vanguard's other high yield offerrings... Financials ETF has yield of 3.14% and High Dividend Yield has a yield of 3.35%.

M* says that that MGV is undervalued and considers it a buy.
