401(k) allocation tdanley  06-01-2008, 7:57 PM | Post #2523718  |

Hello, I am looking for some advice on how to allocate the funds in my
company 401(k) which is administered by Fidelity. I plan to retire in 11
years.

Because I tend to buy and hold, and make changes quarterly at the most,
I want to stick with some combination of the pre-mixed portfolio
investment options and the asset class investment options. Here are the
investment options I have:

Pre-mixed portfolio options:

Conservative - 25% money market fund, 35% interest income fund, 20% bond
fund, 12% US stock index fund, 6% international stock fund, 2% small cap
stock fund

Moderate - 30% interest income fund, 30% bond fund, 24% US stock index
fund, 11% international stock fund, 5% small cap stock fund

Balanced - 40% bond fund, 38% US stock index fund, 15% international
stock fund, 7% small cap stock fund

High growth - 20% bond fund, 50% US stock index fund, 19% international
stock fund, 11% small cap stock fund

Aggressive growth - 64% US stock index fund, 22% international stock
fund, 14% small cap stock fund

Asset class options:

Money market fund - NTGI short term investment fund

Interest income fund - PIMCO separately managed account
short-intermediate term bonds

Bond fund - PIMCO separately managed account intermediate bonds

US stock index fund - NTGI daily S&P 500 equity index fund

Small cap stock fund - NTGI daily Russell 2000 index fund

International stock fund - NTGI daily EAFE index fund

Thanks in advance for the feedback,
Tad
