I think the great majority believe that a well constructed portfolio should:

  1. Use low-cost funds; and
  2. Hold funds in different asset classes.

Jack Bogle, Dan Wiener, and the DFA crowd disagree on many things.  But they all agree on those two.

I think the overall  forum philosophy centers around those two things.  However, the forum should be open to discussing other matters without name-calling or reprisals.
