If Hillary ran against Colin Powell she'd get a great majority of the black vote. Being half-black isn't enough, you have to present something (policy, platform, etc ) that that group wants. The main reason BO will get the black vote is because of the GOP.The Republicans have turned into some bizarre Reagan-worshipping personality cult built on white guys voting for other white guys who look like they are waiting to tee off at the country club. Besides, what's wrong with someone voting for someone who he/she thinks understands them? Rednecks vote for rednecks, Catholics for Catholics, Hispanics for Hispanics, gun nuts for gun nuts. For some reason the "black vote thing" really hits a sensitive nerve with the nutty (not the normal conservative) white right.   You spend 40 years driving away the black vote and then are shocked! shocked! that they vote Democrat. And - unbelievable! - a half-black Democrat. You really should get out and talk to your fellow Americans of African heritage. Forgive me Allah but I need that ol' corn jug 'bout now.......

The BS that you offer is what we all need to see.  You are almost as good as the Rev Wright. 

Why would we need to get out and talk to blacks, when we have you and the Rev Wright to lecture us on blacks and whites. 

YOU sure know how to garner the white vote.  Treat them like dirt, accuse them of ignorance and just down right racism. Keep the rabble rousing going, you are worth more than the millions that McCain could spend on advertising.
