The twisters were close, but no damage in my area.  I'm in the Hampton/Newport News area are & the twisters were in the Suffolk area.  Crap - we'll be watching for the blessed hurricanes pretty soon.

comm'ing faster yet?  I'm guessing you are talking about connection speed - still have dial up.  Thinking about Verizon DSL or whatever, but every time i get a mailing from them the FINE PRINT scares me off ------  service not guaranteed, MAY incur a charge of $79 for whatever.............
