Looking for Hint O'Wisdom Somewhere Most Days 

Hi Hetty--Do you belong to Costco? I don't think you have to time anything. It seems anytime I go in there, there is a table set up at EACH END of all the food type aisles, pushing samples of something. Some times so many people just milling around, stuffing their faces, I can hardly get my cart through. Most of these folks don't look like they have been missing any meals lately either!

Sandy, there's a Costco a few blocks from the Palace, but I've never indulged.  I have to laugh with ya 'bout the people going for the free samples of just about anything they're handing out *shudder*  AND nearly smashing the feet of innocent bystanders in the rush to get to junk food.  Meanwhile, I and a few other snobs have the juice and produce samples to ourselves, doing our part for the battle against obesity.    Any handout is automatically desirable and worthwhile?  Hmm, just like socialism in action?

Take care.  BTW, the weather wacky in your neck of the woods?  This w/e it got over 90 degrees here...this morning, it's 56.  Never a dull moment at the Palace and environs.
