Thanks, anyway, but it doesn't do the trick. But it did change my homepage from Verizon/central to MSN which is a more interesting page. This new google thing has a lot of functions, so I'll live with it. If it bothers me, I'll try deleting it from Add/Remove Programs. I just like another option, which gave me different results than Google.
