I have an IRA acct with several Mutual Funds and stocks. In the last year I have been buying and selling stocks on a more frequent basis because it allows me to invest long term as I have with the MF and although I plan to do the same with the stocks I have  or think I have an option to sell a stock before the 1 yr period and avoid paying short term cap. gains tax or worse a loss. Is this legal ? Topics funds IRA IRAs MF stocks View Complete Thread
