Indeed, I also couldn't tell whether you meant "Balanced" between equities and fixed income investments, or balanced appropriately to your risk/reward preferences.  In either case, if you have not already done so, take at look at the TIAA-CREF asset allocation tool (or those of some other financial services companies, since you usually don't have to be a customer to use them.)

This step is vital, because you didn't indicate just how you feel about risk in your retirement portfolio.  This doesn't just affect how well you'll sleep at night, it affects possible bad decisions when the market is weak, and thus your final results when you retire!
