Small money, balanced portfolio vpep80  04-23-2008, 9:53 AM | Post #2510883  |

15,000 in an IRA and 25 years left to invest- I've been reading about the importance of a "balanced portfolio." With this small amount of money, should I choose a balanced index fund and call it a day or spread it out in 5 different funds to create the balanced portfolio. When people refer to "portfolios" they seem to be talking about a lot more money than I have. Am I just looking at more fees? Thoughts?
