Kenster1:

Speaking of which .... WWNPX was the talk of the town around here last year?  Why have we not heard a peep on this fund this year?

So true.  Here's a sampling from the not-too-distant past:

"Kinetics Funds are managed by Horizon Asset Management.  They manage institutional money as well as separately managed accounts.  Their numbers are fantastic and go back beyond these funds." valnvstr 12/13/07

"How many LCG funds have a Mean TR 2x or more the SD?  Probably not too many.  Even WWNPX with its amazing record just about qualifies."  Chang 11/24/07

"If you look at the top holdings of WWNPX, Bear Stearns is the only financial company they own that got hit with the subprime mortgage fiasco.  Otherwise, they own shares of domestic and foreign stock exchanges and asset management companies which have benefited from the global equity boom without having any significant exposure to subprime assets. The management team at WWNPX is flat-out superb and they have consistently shown that they are great stock pickers in a variety of market conditions.  This is a stellar multi-cap "GARP" growth fund with attractive returns and relatively low  standard deviations since inception, which by itself may easily cover the domestic growth needs of a portfolio." kivindow 10/27/07

"And oh yes...I traded WWNPX thrice in the past 2 years, until finally purchasing it "for good"  Rasid 10/08/07

"I have a large sum of money that I want to move out of CDs into mutual funds, and I wanted to know if someone could give me advice on the mutual funds that I am considering:
--> LARGE GROWTH = WWNPX(Kinetics Paradigm)
I am 32, so I am most interested in long term gains. Heck, if I could average 15%/year that would be fantastic (but I don't know how realistic that is)." Trey 7/10/07
