Amerivest. Thumbs up or thumbs down?

I am wondering if anyone is familiar with TD Ameritrade's Amerivest investments. It is made up of mostly ETF's. If I plan to retire in 2030... is there enough history on this type of account to decide if it will be worth the investment? Are there any disadvantages?
