Re: Air Traffic Safety Is In Danger Under Bush Sev_Mills  04-12-2008, 2:54 PM | Post #2507704

Bush/Cheney regime has been in charge for about eight years. They are the ones who have appointed the FAA officials. What roles the previous Democratic administration and the current Democratic Congress have had in appointing the industry lobbyists to FAA leadership positions? Zilch. I realize you are a Bush apologist, but you should still have some shame.

On a related story, American, Delta, United, Southwest, Northwest, and a few other airlines have grounded hundreds of passenger airplanes for emergency repairs over the past three weeks, since even the airlines have realized that they can no longer fly airplanes with cracked fuselage and faulty engines without killing thousands of passengers.

It would be really embarrassing if the Bush-supported maintenance neglect of airlines would result in more American passenger casualties than 9/11. The question would be who is a more dangerous enemy to the flying public, the Al Qaeda or the greedy airlines and their Republican allies in the White House?
