Two of my family already work for "foreign" firms, and they are better treated than when working for American owned companies.

Better perks, better pay.

The two companies are Cemex, and Nestles.

Americans are a large part of their customer base, and they show respect to their American employees.

It's not like my family members are filling bags of hot chocolate or cement in a factory, they are in administrative type jobs; one is a finance manager, one is a negotiator.

The one working for Nestles left Coca Cola and makes substantially more, with a much better career path as well. any company more "American" than Coca Cola?

Don't be afraid of foreign companies, you might be surprised how you are treated.

When I graduated with my BA, I thought sure we would need to learn Japanese. Whoops, what happened?
