Re: Introducing Our New ETF Research Crystal ball  04-01-2008, 7:58 PM | Post #2504278

Hi Jeff,

I used the ETF valuation quickrank tool this last week, and I was impressed at the simplicity and reach of its potential.
However, I would like to bring out the fact that under foreign stock there is not a single Vanguard ETF.

I love Vanguard ETF's for several reasons:

First, they offer the greatest possible level of diversification based on an ETF's holdings.
These vary from around 500 companies to over 2,000 for (VPL, VGK, VWO, VEU, and VEA).

Second, they offer one of the best country diversification allocation schemes (from 5 to over 40 countries).

Third, they offer a great level of liquidity (180,000 to over 1,000,000 shares on average each trading day).
Net assets vary from about $800 million to over $6 billion dollars for these ETFs.
This provides markets where stable prices can be expected when buying or selling these ETFs.

Fourth, they offer the lowest expense ratio in each category where they participate (from 0.12% to 0.25%).
This puts more money to work for me versus the competition since I don't have to pay so much for managing the ETFs.
The longer I keep the ETFs the more I save.

Finally, these ETFs are offered by one of the oldest, largest, more experienced, and more reputable investment companies in the market (Vanguard).

Best regards,

Eric
