Re: Inadvertendly contributed too much to Roth IRA, now what? mattym  03-29-2008, 6:10 PM | Post #2503099

I also just remembered that I have 250.00 in cash (money market) at sharebuilder in a Roth account that is scheduled to be invested this tuesday. Can i just decrease that amount to 237.00 or is the money in the cash (money market account) account counted as part of the contribution for the year?

Just trying to fanagle way to not over contribute here.

 Thanks.
