I feel your pain.  It was an awful week for my portfolio too. 

It was a week of reversals.  Commodities, energy, and global growth plays all corrected violently, while US financials made a decent recovery.  I'm overweight the former and completely out of the latter.  You get the picture.

Actually, I think the Fed & Treasury did some very good work this week.  They managed to buoy the market, support the US Dollar, and snap the commodities winning streak. That's good news for the inflation fight.  Mortgage rates have come down because banks are now sitting on a stronger foundation that a week ago.   That will help the housing recovery.

Technically, a potential double bottom is in place and January lows are holding.

It's not one inning that counts - it's the entire game.
