Gee Whiz.  Let a person get a good night of sleep and everything becomes okay.  Asia did well in trading last night, Europe is as green as St Patrick this morning, & S&P futures are pointing skyward from the Abyss.  The pundits are still anticipating that the fed will reduce rates further at their meeting and I have no reason to doubt that.  What I don't understand is why this is considered good news.   

The latest rumor is that a hedge fund by the name of M F Global is selling gold bullion to raise money for a large margin call in derivatives.  This is strictly a rumor that I have not been able to confirm, but, if it is true, it would explain golds flatness yesterday. 

I did nothing yesterday and probably won't do anything today.
