Steve, previously I used an airline card, but have been very happy with a switch to Shell Citi card.  The 5% back on Shell gasoline purchases is significant.  You see it as real money back every month, and they show you the total since inception. In my area Shell pricing is fairly competitive, so it makes gas with a quality additive cheaper than lesser quality additive systems.
