Forgive me for my ignorance, but can you please direct me how to find this to the new thread? What am I clicking on to get there?
Quick update;
As of last week 02/01/08, my ORNCX fund has dropped over three thousand dollars of my retirement money. My two $10K Alliance Burnstein Collage Bound Funds have dropped over a thousand dollars, I was never advised as to risks involved in College fund investing, now I'm stuck with them.
To change my college funds, I would be charged $50.00 each and have to stay within the same company, or, for an extra fee, I can change companies, but, I cannot remove the funds to place into a safer fund until my kids are of age.
I sold what I had left in my Oppenheimer fund and placed into a cash fund for now.
My Franklin FRFTX fund continues to hang in there fro what I can understand, and my Putnam tax exempt income fd class C is doing OK, not great but OK I guess.
I am very new to all this investing, and frankly, with three children and being disabled at age 48, I'm very concerned for our future.
Does anyone know why my Putnam Security Identifier is a nine digit number and not like that of FRXTX or simular? I have no clue how to look up a fund with an identifier number of 746870401, can't locate any info for this.
Thanks for the replies
