I, too, was looking at this fund as a possible substitute or addition to Ariel (small/mid cap) but upon examination it's clear that Osterweis Fund is really an all-cap blend. This is not bad, of course, but doesn't fit what I think we are both looking for. This is just a limitation of the Morningstar box system. For mid cap blend, a "true to box" fund is CAAPX (Ariel Appreciation). Not recommending it, I'm just exploring it.
