I'm 26 and looking to add an international large cap fund to my IRA.
Right now I have 63% in Kinetics Paradigm, 14% QLD (Nasdaq ultra long) 13% in SLX (steel), and 7% in IEZ (Oil/Gas equipment ETF) plus a tiny bit of cash. I realize this isn't the most diversified but that's more a consequence of the IRA annual contribution limit (and I only opened it last year).
To add some Int'l exposure for the long-haul I'm thinking of popping the minimum $2500 into either HIINX or ARTIX. Expense wise they seem very close, HIINX seems to have better performance over it's life though I guess some question the longevity of its fund manager (though I don't think anything will happen soon). So which would you choose?
Also - I was looking at getting some Emerging Market exposure via BKF. Any thoughts on that one? EEB has been around longer and has great returns but a recent article thinks that EEB is too much BC and that BKF is much more diversified with the top holdings accounting for less of the total allocation.
Thoughts on any of this (again, I'm looking very long term).
Thanks! :)
