NOBODY CAN SEE THE FUTURE,  but you might be able to answer your own question by going to www.bigcharts,  and enter the symbol in the area relating to Historical Quotes, enter your symbol, and select a date--say December 28th of 2007,  and every Friday since then.  That might give you a clue as to whether or not the slide experienced in the U.S.A. has stopped occuring there.  When you are happy with what you see, invest. 

You might also wish to look at INP,  which is an India ETF.  I has been a stronger area, but got really clobbered in this recent slide.
