As usual, Steve does an amazing job and is always worth listening to and 95% of the time, I learn something I did not know. To understand him, you need to remember the story about the stranger who met a man with a dog. The stranger asked the man if his dog would bite if petted. The man said no. The stranger reached out, petted the dog and the dog bit him. Angrily he said to the man, you said your dog did not bite. The man said, that is right, but this is not my dog. That would have never happened to Steve because he would have asked the right question..an art form.
I would buy none of the IQ Investment Advisor funds you mentioned because-
There are an overwhelming number of CEF funds and I have found that I can find more funds than I have money by sticking with premier institutions like Nuveen, PIMCO, Blackrock, Eaton Vance, Western Asset and Alliance. In a few cases, I buy funds from other outfits like Van Kampen - because Dick thought they were good and I liked what he suggested when I checked it out.
