lol... I am glad LR has found her own unique way to contribute to this discussion on world oil demand. I suppose it is natural for each of us to work within our own intellectual limits. Now of course, so far, the voting shows the opposite of LR's intended votes, so maybe she has gotten confused as to which is the up and down buttons.
For the record, I vote up everyone that puts up a post with content. Maybe down if its personally insulting with content, down for sure if its insulting and otherwise pointless. So almost always, both KB and OH get an up from me. I have in fact been slagged for even suggesting I vote up OH, which is odd to me. But whatever...
And no, I have not voted yet. I will do something completely unconventional, and read all the posts carefully before voting. I know! Its crazy!
To Robert's comment and link, I do believe there is a lot more oil to be discovered and extracted. The point is at what cost, be it political or economic? The average cost of production per barrel is rising rather alarmingly, so this alone puts a natural (and rising) floor under oil prices. If one is to believe the "Twilight in the Desert" author, Saudi Arabian oil production has peaked. If so, this trend will only continue at a faster rate.
