I'm in the process of rolling over a Roth into Fidelity and wanted to get some feedback on my current idea. I have roughly 30k and I'm sticking with no load funds available at Fidelity, I'm 37 so this is for the long term.
FSTMX - Total Market Index (10k b/c it's the minimum)
TAVFX - Third Avenue Fund (10k, again it's the minimum)
JORNX - Janus Orion - 5k
JAOSX - Janus Overseas or HIINX harbor International - 5k
My thought is that FSTMX provides all around US market coverage in a low fee index as a base with Third Avenue as a good long term value hitting all caps and international. Then Janus Orion for growth either JAOSX or HIINX for international and as I put in more I can continue to round out but what do you all think of this as a place to start for long term? I hear people's hesitation about Janus but I don't know if I should really stay away. Thoughts? Remember I'm sticking with NTF FIdelity.
Thanks
