WOW, if Warren Buffett is so smart, why don't we just go out and buy his company, BRKA or BRKB, instead of index funds?
Warren Buffett does not own index funds but he wants everyone else to own them. Many people on this board think Mr. Buffett walks on water, yet they favor index funds instead of buying his company and holding it through thick and thin.
Buy BRKA and stay the course.
In hindsight we know that Buffet has done extremely well over the decades. What we don't know is how his successors will do when Buffet is no longer at the helm. Do investors have faith in Buffet or the stock?
