No. 10 – Don’t Wear Underwear Rob Reed  02-01-2007, 6:00 AM | Post #2330460

Be an early adopter, and ride the wave to new found freedom and enjoy mind relaxing benefits.

LR, sometime ago, advised that she doesn't wear underwear - cool, I suppose without a visual inspection of the merchandise. She once again repeats this sage advice in Conv. 1639 @ #34.

I do take a certain amount of pleasure in deliberately offending people such as yourself...it makes the day so much more fun seeing how you crank yourself up...your shorts are probably causing you real problems. Maybe you should take up living a life without underwear.

I enjoy the freedom of Britney Spears . . . I don't object if she wants to shoot a beaver for national TV . . . bringing it on, ladies. My young, hip, and gorgeous 11th grade biology teacher, freshly graduated from college and attired in short mini-skirts, knew how to motivate us young lads seeking to learn more about human biology . . . sitting on top of her desk and giving us a fast wink of her being liberated and mentally relaxed by wearing no underwear. It was the only class where young male students would arrive early to jockey for a front row, left side seat whereas usually taking a back seat to cut jokes and gab nonsense. Sure our tiny male minds might be distracted at times, but we worked harder to produce good grades to please and make her shine as a teacher . . . the school administrators never figured it out. This cool teacher saved my a$$ . . . had skipped several earlier classes with a group of guys and gals to go drinking one day . . . but had to make it back to her class . . . so drunk that I fell out of my chair to the floor to the roaring laughter and embarrassment of all my classmates . . . she directed my guy friends to help carry me away from school, but didn't turn me in . . . next day she asked that I stay behind after class for a talk with her, and while providing sound reasons for not repeating this stupid behavior again, she never got uptight . . . I have lots of admiration and respect for that fine teacher who wore no underwear.

Beyond the benefits of reducing spousal tension, consider national benefits derived. Americans becoming less uptight . . . less road rage and the like. Think of the energy saved of not having to wash and dry underwear and bras. In an earlier Tightwad Tips post (Conv. 195), skillet pleads for people to save energy . . . some excerpts follow:

I used to think this was not an option for people in apartments and a couple of yrs. ago we moved into an apartment. I strung up 2 clothes lines in our bedroom that we dry our clothes on. Imagine the oil this would save if everyone(that could, or would) do this.

Please use a clothes line whether it's indoors or outside. If more of us would do this as much as possible, it could really add up. As an added benefit, I would think it burns more of one's body calories and causes one to use a greater range of motion.

In the spirit of reducing divorce, national reconciliation, saving energy, and promoting fitness, I propose No. 10 - Wear No Underwear to help round out the 9 solid ideas suggested by Jensen, and approved by LR.
