Another Vonage question

Say I get Vonage service at my home in PA, using a standard phone and whatever adapter Vonage provides to connect to the Ethernet.
Can I take the Vonage adapter and my phone to any other broadband connection in the country and expect it to work? For example, if I go to FL for a month this winter and the rental place has broadband, will the Vonage phone and adapter work there?
Also, are there Vonage or third-party VoIP phones that operate over wi-fi, other than the new cell phones with wi-fi capability?
