Healthcare fund advice bigragu  08-29-2007, 6:06 PM | Post #205555  |

Hi Diehards

I listened to Dan Weiner instead of you diehards on picking a healthcare fund(ICON) last year.I made a mistake.Even though it seems like I want to dump it because it's performance is sub-par,I would really like recommendation on a fund to stay the course.

I didn't originally pick the Vanguard healthcare fund because it was closed. But now I am thinking of the Vanguard ETF version. My ICON fund is in my Roth(Scottrade).ETF's are traded the same way as stocks(Right?) so I am thinking that will only cost me $7.I also understand that T-Row has a good healthcare mutual fund too. That would cost me $17.The commissions aren't that big of a deal because my only trade would be to rebalance yearly. But a great fund is a big deal.

What do you guys think? Any recommendations on the funds I mentioned or any others would be appreciated. Thanks
