Thanks for everyone's patience this month as it's taken me a while to get this to you. Without further ado, here is the July update in the 2007 Stock Contest. Conversation #10540 on this forum lists the stock picks of all 55 contestants.
Contestants started the year with $2K in each of five stocks for a portfolio value of $10K. After a volatile month, the S&P finished the month +2.6% YTD - 33 of our contestants are ahead of that. BrassTax leads the bunch (CROX, WFR, ICE), followed by Boliche in 2nd (GRMN, NUAN), and OBrianO rounding out this month's top 3 (RIO, BBD).
Skumar3, it looks like PWEI was acquired or delisted. Do you know the scoop? I couldn't find anything. Also, M* generated an error message when I tried to credit curiousperson's TXT split. I'll do it out manually if it's still not right by next month. There were a couple dividends that M* didn't want to credit either, so hopefully the totals are close and will also sort themselves out next round.
