The Lowest Rated Monologue

Congratulations! You did it! Your candidate won and now
you are a happy camper. On December 24th, 2003 the Lowest Rated Poster on this forum made his political predictions based on metaphysics, extrapolation, personal observations, and Proprietary Guessing Indicators. The lowest rated poster predicted what is better known as THE CFS TRIFECTA [which included a BIG GWB victory, GOP gains on the US Senate, and GOP gains on the US House Of Representatives].

The rest is history, THE CFS TRIFECTA took the GOLD.
It is time to start working on making America a better nation. It is time to star a new monologue. This will be Personal-Attack-Free-Zone. This Lowest Rated Monologue will concentrate in US politics and the Global War On Terrorism [GWOT].

You are invited to post replies, but personal attacks will not be tolerated, because we must RESPECT others. The Lowest Rated Monologue will run until further notice or until secured by our friendly M* Managers. CFS will concentrate on posting on this monologue ONLY. If you prefer to discuss politics off-line, send CFS an email to this addres: PoliticalGurus@Yahoo.com

Please drop by The Lowest Rated Monologue from time to time becase we are going to have fun! Thanks 4 reading!

Shipmates we are hitting new territory here, we have suffered a MIM ATTACK and our approval rating is now down the tubes big time with a Negative Seven Zero approval rating. But we have some news for the MIM, we will continue to drop by from time to time and we will continue to post on this boring monologue as long as it is approved by the Morningstar Management.

cfs de-fines MIM = Multiple ID Members

For my friends dropping by from time to time to read the notes and to say hello, thanks for your support.

Thanks for reading.

Closing down for the week

Closing down for the week here, I will be on the road, heading to the heartland for some work related issues.  And oh by the way, our approval rating is now down the tubes big time, hitting Negative Seven One [-71] and counting.  Have a productive week and good luck to your candidate.  And talking about candidates, we have a good election ahead of us, Sexist and Racist may not apply - bad news for anyone in those two groups - what are they going to do now, who are they going to call, ghost busters? Let me be clear on this, shame on us if this election is decided by those two groups!  Thanks for reading.

Back with a new low

We are back! And we have hit a new low in the ratings with a negative 71 - now think about that number - do you think we have 71 registered members on this forum?? Do we have 71 registered members on ALL the forums of Morningstar? This is a good example of a MIM attack - and the MIM is easy to identify by his/her/it modus operandi and writing style. Anyway, let's get back to business here and thanks for dropping by to read my notes.

Is John S McCain running a dishonorable campaign with his "lies ads"?

My opinion?  It's close.  It is "skirting the line" in what is and always has been a contact sport.  It nowhere NEAR approaches the smears that the other side used against Palin, reflexively and overwhelmingly, upon her selection. (This will be a subject for a separate conversation BTW.)  But it is unfortunate IMO, and I would like to see the McCain campaign focus more on the issues and on VALID complaints against Obama's record.   For example, his long record in Illinois clearly demonstrates that Obama is not a "new" politician, but a typical Democrat machine pol (abeit perhaps somewhat more liberal than most), running typical Democrat campaign.

Part of the Democrat's problem - and an important factor of why this election is going to be close - is that the Obama campaign remains comitted to one centeral campaign theme: " McCain = Bush" - and of course, ANYTHING Bush is automatically bad in every respect.

The problem here is that much of the public knows of McCain's long, maverick reputation so it just doesn't ring true.  We have LOCAL campaigns in our state for CONGRESS where the Democrat's main line of attack is trying to identify their congressional opponent with Bush.  This is even sillier.

The left remains so enraged, so afflicted with BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) that they just can't seem to help themselves.  Now Bush IS a loadstone around the Republican, no doubt about.  But elections are usually about the FUTURE, not the past.

While I may have been partially proved wrong one time in 2006, the contention I made back then (and in 2004, and in 2002, and in 2000) - and have repeated to the point of ad nauseum as far as a lot of folks on here are probably concerned, maybe you included CFS - that conclusion remains valid IMO:

An election is NOT a referrendum.

An election is a CHOICE.

MWL thanks for dropping by and thanks for your input. My opinion here - good guys or good girls are NOT going to win elections - in Blood Sports you must remain on the offensive and that is exactly what the JSM team is doing [if I was running the JSM show I would not change a darn thing because you can fool some people all of the time]. The JSM team MUST keep the BHO team against the ropes on the defensive mode [keep them on the run and disorganized].  One more time here are the 2008 presidential election results [from the cfs 2008 predictions], the Republican Party candidate wins by getting 49.3 percent of the populous vote and 280 electors.  MWL, again, thanks for dropping by and thanks for the input.

Not a bad month at all - and one of the best days was the day after Palin's acceptance speech.  Anyway, WHO is giving their hard earned dollars to BOTH campaigns? Yes money can buy government.
