MF CONTEST Ranks for cob 5/16/08

Here is a mid May '08 bi-weekly ranking. The market continues to improve, and is now just about break-even ytd. Two-thirds of the contestants are now in the black. Each contestant picked 5 funds (only funds, no stocks), purchased in equal amounts (ea 10K) on 12/31. Our ranks are based on M*'s system of YTD returns, using an Excel spreadsheet.

As noted in previous rankings, doublecheck your individual portfolios
returns. If something doesn't jive, let us know.

To help us weigh how well our portfolios are doing, the following
benchmarks are those we feel are most pertinent, with the "consensus"
portfolio doing quite well, Up +7.51%...

Hey, I picked up 21 places in a couple of weeks!

At that rate, I should be on top by the end of July!!!
