It appears that McCain is looking to expand his base of support among independents by acknowledging the US must do something with respect to global warming. I can't remember anyone in the Republican Party taking any kind of pro-environmental stand since Richard Nixon (Clean Air Act). I'm sure this issue will upset the conservatives in the party to no end. I'll bet before November rolls around he'll have to hang a sign around his neck to identify himself as the Republican candidate.:))

We all know that the environmentalist are driving up the cost of gas.

Today I heard Rush saying that global warming was a ploy by the Democrats to weaken the US. He said the polar ice caps are not melting. LOL!
