Can't use advanced search; it's not working.  Furthermore, in order to search by post number, you need to know what forum it was originally posted in.

I see that "search by thread number" has a bug, and we are correcting that now.  Regarding specifying which thread to search for the thread number, that has always been a part of that search approach.  Maybe I am misunderstanding your comment?

It appears that the rest of the advanced search function is working correctly. Let me know if you've turned up any other bugs.

I don't remember having to specify a forum to search by thread number.

Previously, once in a forum, you could enter a thread number at the top of the page.  It would limit the search to the forum you were in currently. Each forum had a thread number 1, 2, 3, etc.  Now that we've made a centralized page for the search, it creates a need to specify the forum and thread number, otherwise it would return 25 thread #1s, one for each forum.
