Good thing for some of these folks that Social Security exists

Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the link. It's troublesome. And withdrawals may be going up even more now.

This whole world is becoming increasingly troublesome!

I need to find a hole in the sand and put my head in it!

Doesn't surprise me..

With some 50% divorces

College costs getting out of control and Kids being Brainwashed that parents should be paying for everything for them

Including Not just for their College education, but $50k for their Weddings!

Making the Ave median income of $50-$60k yr ain't gonna make it for very long.. and on the otherhand? Alot of #401k's going bankrupt by the Companies( think Airlines, Enron, Bear sterns) I'd be bailing out of Mine as well, if had one..take it private and manage it myself..

An Am FOR Privatizing SS as well..

Too many 'Speical Interest" are getting their hands into it..

Juast like into Medicare..

and are bankrupting it..

Limoman: 401k's don't go bankrupt. If you're stupid enuf to invest your retirement savings in one company...ie Enron, Worldcom then yes you may 'bankrupt' your retirement savings. The reality is these employees' had more than their company stock to invest in their 401k and many chose to invest 100%..I repeat 100% of their savings in company stock. Serves them right.
