So, does anyone care to venture a guess, as to how the jobs report will come in on Friday - 05/02/08?

I'm talking about what CNBC reports on --  each and every month.

Last month, for March ---  the number came in at a negative 80,000.  Of course, that is a preliminary number, than later on in the proceedings, the U.S. Department of Labor goes back in --  and revises the number.

I am betting on a number of a negative 49,000.

I realize that this is a rather dry post ---  but it's kind of like playing a lottery, when it comes to the nation's unemployment number.
