Discussion Updates not Taking

Recently I've noticed that after I edit a post, the changes do not appear in the updated post.
I'm losing a lot of time. Have tried cleaning out my system cache and restarting Firefox, but I continue to see the old, unchanged post. When I edit the post, I see the new, changed information. So, I think there may be an issue on your end.
Specifically, I can not get changes to a LINK to stick. I make the change, update the link, check it again, and then update the post. The link will simply not update!
Can you please advise? Thanks.

Norbert,
We quietly rolled out some updates to our system in the last two weeks that are resulting in pages loading around three times faster. Part of that change involves caching pages on our servers and updating them every few minutes. So what you are experiencing is a byproduct of this speed-focused update.
When you edit your posts, the changes will be reflected after a few minutes, so whatever you see in the post editor and post preview will be pushed live momentarily. Sorry for the inconvenience; after weighing the value (2-3 times faster) versus the cost (posts experiencing a short delay), we decided that speed was more important.
Thanks,

Darrin,
Thanks for the explanation. However, I think there is a problem updating LINKS.
Please look at post n° #2511538.
I am trying to create a link to this address:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$USD&p=D&yr=1&mn=0&dy=0&&a=125039020
But, the link that keeps getting updated is this:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$USD&p=D&yr=1&mn=0&dy=0&&a=125039020
EVEN WHEN I ADD A NEW, SEPARATE LINK!
I've been creating chart links like this for a long time and suspect that your processor is mishandling the links.
Thanks for checking this out.

WAIT! Your processor is modifying my first link. So, the problem is not the LINK. For some reason the address I'm entering for a StockCharts chart is being converted.
Any ideas?

Bear with me as I clarify a point since the above two links and the link in the post you mention are all the same:
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$USD&p=D&yr=1&mn=0&dy=0&&a=125039020
I'm guessing the problem is that the URL is being revised by the post editor, like for example maybe it is converting the ampersands to double ampersands (&&)? Is that correct? Just want to be sure I send the programmers on the right path for the bug fix.
Thanks Norbert!

Hi Darrin,
I think your guess is probably correct. I sent you an email so you can accurately see the "before" and "after" versions of the URL.
What's amazing is that the URL still works, only the chart is not the custom one I linked to; just a generic version. That's some coincidence! It's had me doubting my sanity yesterday morning.
Thanks,
Norbert

Hello Darrin,
Could you give me a date on the repair work please?
I'm pressing you because my StockCharts subscription is up for renewal. As things stand, I can NOT link to my charts from M*.
I presume you received my e-mail with the details?
Thanks,
Norbert

Norbert,
We are set to roll out a regularly-scheduled set of updates on Monday, May 12th (so a little over a week from now). This link issue will be resolved on that date (we've got the fix in hand and are currently testing it).
Thanks,
M*_Darrin
