I am sorry that I just returned to see that the links were gone.
Have you checked these good sites which can help you pick cards
This one should be your first one. Plug in your spending habits by category and it will give you which card or mix of cards will give you the most total rebates. See Credit Card Tuneup http://www.creditcardtuneup.com/

I'm moving this up to current time so that the person who asked the questions to see the links might see them this time.

Thanks for reposting the links, Jim. Does anyone like what they've done to these forums?! I couldn't even find Tightwad Tips until I logged on...I think this new format is an aggravating mess!!
Should you use reward credit cards?

Should you use reward credit cards?  There is a nice article in the 11/4/07 issue of the Washington Post about those who play the credit card reward game.  Go to http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/03/AR2007110300158.html.

Basically, read the fine print on credit card applications.   Don't use the reward cards if you carry a balance because they charge higher interest rates.   You must be disciplined in diligently paying off your card debt fully each month.

I play the game, do not carry a balance and receive over $900 back each year.
