Thank you Ben, for keeping both this forum (and especially this thread) going.

I'm so busy I don't have time to comment much, but when I have a spare moment or two to look at investment information, I start at HandsOn. I always start at "HandsOn Tracking", because that is real world information.

What ETF, OEF and stocks do you hold at month end?

Did you have any transactions during the month?

What percentage do each of your holdings represent in your portfolio at month end?

Thanks.

Can you post your holdings (fund/stock names and ticker symbols) along with the percentage that each represents in your portfolio?

No one cares about the dollar amount, but if we know what you're holding, and the percentages, we can learn about how your individual holdings react to various market changes.

Thanks.

Can you post your month end holdings?

Can you post your transactions during the month?

If you could do that, then we could get a feel for how you operate, and maybe even a feel for "what's hot" right now.

If you would post your month end portfolio, and your monthly transactions, then maybe the chap named Jerry who drops in now and then, and has been so giving with his research, would do the same, and we would have a chance to see what two upgraders are doing.

Thanks.

Thanks for breaking out the percentages of your holdings.

That helps me get a feel for how each of them responds to what's going on in the real world month-by-month.

YTD cumulative withdrawal = 2.1%***

***Uncle Sam and farm equipment got me this month.

Can you explain how "Uncle Sam" and "farm equipment" affected the value of your month end portfolio?

In other words, does your "Down 1.68%" statistic reflect that you took out taxes and some farm equipment expenses in April?

That could make big difference to those of us who are watching how your portfolio perfoms each month in various macro economic conditions.

Could you post the names and ticker symbols of what you own at month end, along with the percentage of each in your portfolio?

It would also be very valuable if you could give us a brief comment each month about the transactions you made during the month.

HandsOn Tracking is designed to be a learning experience. In order to learn from the various posts, we need to have a breakdown of the individual investments in each person's portfolio, so we can see how the entire protfolio reacts to real world economic and market changes.

We don't need the dollar amount of your porfolio. We need a list of all the individual investments, and the percentage each investment represents at month end, along with a brief description of any transactions you made during the month.

Thanks for reporting on HandsOn Tracking.

Good evening, Mike

I wish I could report that my portfolio only lost 0.68% and I then subtracted the 1% I spent. Alas, that's not he case; I do not consider my spending when calculating my portfolio performance. The annual withdrawal rate is for my information and probably doesn't add any worthwhile info to my monthly report. Thanks for asking and congratulations to you and the others with positive returns year-to-date.
