Anybody selling 1 share of DODGX ?

Hi,

My wife currently have 2 Dodge and Cox funds - DODBX and DODFX. It is difficult for her to reach her perfect asset allocation because of DODBX. She would rather have DODGX, DODIX and DODFX. That would make a good blend to re-allocate between Domestic, International and Bonds.

If anyone wants to sell one share of DODGX we would like to buy it. I can offer a share of DODBX (closed) or cash.
Please Email me at Karlkarkaria1@hotmail.com

Thanks,
Karl

who were willing to sell one share of a closed fund.
Maybe they are not online today. Hope to hear from someone soon.

My sister wanted to start investing in DODGX, so I transfered some of my shares to her.

The minimum amount you can transfer to a new account is $2500.

While D&C does in fact require a minimum of $2,500 of shares to be transferred to a new owner, you can get around this amount by transferring just one (1) share to the other person's Taxable brokerage account.

Once the new share arrives in the other person's account, s/he can is then considered to be an "existing" or "current" investor in DODGX, and can then purchase additional shares through his/her brokerage account.

Going through D&C, however, you are correct. One would have to transfer a minimum of $2,500 of DODGX to the new owner to get the new owner's foot in the door.

Ps: While I own many funds that are "closed" to new investors, this is NOT one of them.

Pps: To Karl, don't give up, man. Keep posting (or looking for posts re: DODGX), and you'll eventually get a share.

Good luck. Email me if you need more information on how the process works.

D.

Don't mean to horn in on your quest Karl, but since this thread is live I thought I'd take advantage of it to see if anyone has 1 share of BRSIX they'd care to sell.

If so, please email me at:

Socrativestor AT SBCGlobal.net

Thanks.

As long as we are all putting out our All Points Bulletin(s) for various "closed" funds, I am currently in the process of trying to locate anyone who might have one (1) share of "Bridgeway Ultra-Small Company" ("BRUSX" to sell or trade for anyone of my many "closed" funds.

A good friend of mine has been looking for this one for a while, and because he has helped me out on many occasions with closed funds and mutual funds advice, I would like to return the favor, if I could.

If anyone is interested in a sale/trade, please contact me at:

Thanks a bunch,

I think BRUSX are closed to all investors. You can't make additional purchase, even if you have 1 share.
Just my 2c.

Thanks for the heads-up on BRUSX.

I wasn't aware that BRUSX was Super-Hard-Closed.

Appreciate the information.

Sincerely,

David
