Posted first portfolio- This is a ROTH IRA that I started with my son after his first job. We learned from this forum that parents can help to fund a ROTH as long as he earns that much money. He's put in 15% of everything he's earned (but needs the rest for college), and I've put in the rest. He hates to see it go down so he has more in bonds than some folks said there should be for his age, but he took the quiz on the Vanguard website and so the current allocation is pretty close to what he was comfortable with.
