Regular Footnoted readers know that we target holiday filings as being especially juicy. So it’s no surprise that we had plenty of contenders for today’s post. However, this golden goodbye (as spotted by eagle-eyed reporter Sonya) easily took the cake. White Electronic Designs (WEDC) is sending off President and CEO Hamid R. Shokrgozar with quite a party. This small-cap company is rewarding a CEO who has presided over a very flat stock price with a $1.6 million sendoff — plus he’s getting an hourly rate of $250 for any “consulting” services. The $50,000 outplacement services? Priceless.
